Mechanical Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and assembly work instructions to ensure accurate execution of assembly activities.
• Assemble and install heavy truck mechanical components in accordance with approved manufacturing and quality standards.
• Perform fitting, alignment, and installation of engines, transmissions, axles, chassis components, and related mechanical systems.
• Use torque wrenches, measuring instruments, and hand tools to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with engineering requirements.
• Support vehicle and engine assembly operations while maintaining productivity and adherence to production schedules.
• Inspect assembled components, identify defects or non-conformities, and assist in implementing corrective actions to maintain product quality.
• Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical assembly issues to minimize rework and ensure smooth production flow.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in safe and operational condition while following established housekeeping standards.
• Ensure compliance with company safety regulations, quality procedures, and manufacturing best practices throughout all assembly activities.
