Auto Service Advisor

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working 40 hours per week - shift work - must be able to work weekends
  • Working in our auto service department
  • Helping customers that walk in
  • Answering phones
  • Explaining to customers what repairs are needed on their vehicle and what to recommend for them
  • Liaison between the mechanics and customers to make sure everything is dealt with properly
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times
  • Must be comfortable with computers - will be pricing out parts and labor, writing up repair orders and creating estimates for customers
  • Using a point of sale system for payments (computer cash register)

Qualifications:

  • Able to work independently and as a member of the team
  • High school education, or current enrollment in high school
  • Able to lift at least 25lbs and be comfortable bending, lifting, kneeling, and using ladders
  • Experience in a retail setting would be highly desirable
  • A passion for the community in which you live, or experience volunteering would be an asset
  • Passion for vehicles and the automotive industry.
