Your new responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive PowerBI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics for our Cloud Software development teams
- Collaborate closely with software development, product, and engineering teams to understand their data needs and translate them into effective dashboard solutions
- Apply best practices in data visualization and user experience to ensure dashboards are intuitive, actionable, and support data-driven decision-making
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure and reporting capabilities
- Manage and version control PowerBI assets and related scripts using GitLab
- Support in connecting to various data sources, performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Contribute to implementing complex DAX formulas and M-queries to create robust data models and insightful calculations
Your talents and experience
- You are currently enrolled in a Swiss University and pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Informatics, or a related quantitative field at a university or University of Applied Sciences
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI Desktop, or a strong interest and aptitude for learning its functionalities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably GitLab
- Proficiency in a programming language commonly used for data manipulation (e.g., Python, SQL, TypeScript) is a plus
- Be a motivated and proactive student with excellent problem-solving skills and a dedicated, results-oriented work style
- Fluent in English
- Very good knowledge of German would be an advanatge
