The recent acquisition of LEGO and LEGOLAND Discovery Centres into the LEGO Group creates a unique opportunity to shape the future of a global attraction business at a pivotal moment in its journey.
As Head of LEGO Discovery Operations, you will lead a network of 29 LEGO and LEGOLAND Discovery Centres across North America, Europe and Asia, partnering with a passionate team to strengthen performance, elevate guest experiences and build strong operational foundations that will support the business for years to come.
This role is about getting the fundamentals right: creating consistency, building capability, raising standards and ensuring every attraction delivers an exceptional LEGO experience for families. By doing so, you will help create the platform for sustainable future growth.

Key Accountabilities
Operational Leadership & Business Performance
- Lead the operational performance of 29 LEGO and LEGOLAND Discovery Centres across multiple regions through four regional directors, 29 Head of LEGO and LEGOLAND Discovery Centres and 1000+ staff members.
- Drive improvements in guest satisfaction, operational excellence, profitability and long-term business performance.
- Ensure strong execution while balancing commercial priorities with the guest experience and LEGO brand standards.
Guest Experience & Hospitality
- Elevate the end-to-end guest experience across the portfolio.
- Drive improvements in Net Promoter Score and overall guest satisfaction.
- Champion a consistent yet locally relevant experience that brings the LEGO brand to life through memorable interactions and play.
People & Leadership
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of operational leaders across regions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Build organisational capability and succession plans to strengthen the future leadership pipeline.
- Operational Excellence & Standardisation
- Establish clear operating standards, governance and performance management across the portfolio.
- Drive greater consistency in how attractions are operated.
- Embed scalable processes, tools and ways of working that improve efficiency and support long-term success.
Transformation & Capability Building
- Partner closely with the LEGO Location Based Leadership team to shape the future strategy, operating model and business priorities.
- Lead the culture change, embedding the LEGO values and leadership behaviors across the newly acquired sites.
- Lead key operational improvement initiatives
Do you have what it takes?
- Degree in hospitality or tourism
- Experience in a similar role running attractions/theme parks or multi site operations location in leisure/tourism industry
- International experience in a senior leadership role
- Experience in attraction and theme park operations management in senior leadership team roles preferably working for well known global brands. (Or in similar industries such as hospitality/hotels, fitness and cruise ships etc.)
- Multi-Site Consumer Operations (Retail & Hospitality)
- Global multi-site leadership
- Strong financial mindset (not just revenue growth)
- Guest/ Customer experience obsession
- Operational standardization + flexibility
- Digital fluency (not necessarily technical, but strategic)
- Ability to manage complexity across cultures and regions
- Transformation experience (not just steady-state ops)
- Highly flexible and adaptable with a positive mindset
- Experienced team leader of senior leaders (direct reports) and influencing senior leaders within the LEGO Group (Peers)
- It would be desirable to have experience in Midway attractions and the ability to work cross functionally within LLBE team and the wider LEGO Group organization
Location
The role is based in Billund or Copenhagen with global travel.
