We are currently looking for Administrative Assistants to provide secretarial support to the Strategic Business Units/COO by conducting administrative and general office duties, organizing and coordinating activities/events as applicable.

Your Job responsibilities willinter alia, evolve around:
- Receive and screen telephone calls and/or visitors, determine priority, escalate to concerned parties and follow up on actions to ensure efficiency of service;
- Meet and greet clients and visitors with a view of promoting the positive MCB image amongst external contacts;
- Assist in managing the agenda/calendar of the Head of Strategic Business Units/COO to ensure availability to attend all key meetings at the appointed times;
- Organise and coordinate meetings (onsite or offsite), committees, conferences, business travel arrangements or any other related business events for the department in order to meet priorities and ensure smooth running of events;
- Responsible for dematerialisation of physical documents within different departments and assist in system input;
- Maintain inventory records and be responsible for ordering equipment/stationery and other items to ensure adequate stock levels for an efficient operation of the office;
- Carry out administrative duties as per instructions and up to required standards for smooth running of operations;
- Provide a complete correspondence service including routing correspondence, preparing reports, minutes of meeting and drafting replies where appropriate, to ensure that prompt attention is given to information requests, and for effective records;
- Take action for the upkeep of office equipment and environment to ensure proper physical appearance and lay out of the department.

The minimum job requirements for Administrative Assistant:
Either:
- Diploma with 1 year proven work experience as an Administrative Support or similar role in handling administrative duties.
OR:
- Higher School Certificate (3 A Levels + 2 subs) with 2 years’ of work experience within the bank; preferably in a similar position or administrative environment.
A combination of both qualifications and experience will also be considered.
You will be required to demonstrate:
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Tools;
- Strong typing skills.
