Job Description

The Sample Manager position is responsible for sample management, workflow optimization, and market analysis.The role is critical in maintaining sample quality for our research panels. It includes a mix of data analysis, reporting, strategic planning, and cross functional collaboration. This position is key for executing priorities and sample functions in a market research context.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing operating measures and information, and shares analysis with stakeholders
  • Provides information and meets regularly with management to assist in development of operating plans.
  • Analyzes priorities. Assigns all sample to meet market demographic needs. Responsible for all aspects of spec and sample assignment
  • Manages sample turnover and lifecycle
  • Monitors Basic Rate, Demographic Representation, Installed Count, In Tabs, SPI, and works to improve. Continually looking to improve sample quality.
  • Communicates needs to Panel Teams.
  • Works cross functionally with Product, Engineering and Data Science Teams
  • Analyze market level performance of KPIs by reviewing technical and compliance faults and open work items
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure the right work goes to the right people
  • Manage data bases, evaluate data, extract panelist level data and prioritize work in call queue based on staffing capacity and best time to contact
  • Evaluate status conditions and modification to sample to ensure quality
  • Review reports regarding equipment and escalate as necessary
  • Partner with Technology partners and develop system enhancements to automation of the call queue as well as improve performance and productivity
  • Perform UAT and smoke testing as needed

Qualifications

  • Able to connect to High Speed Internet in your primary residence with minimum speeds of 80mb down / 10 upload
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of successful leadership experience
  • Knowledge of panel methodology and media industry.
  • Have strong understanding of sample management practices
  • Proven track record of high achievement results is required.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze & manage data along within a rapidly changing environment
  • Proven record of being able to lead within a matrix organization
