Jr QA Automation Engineer

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and scenarios using tools such as Postman.
• Support API, unit, component integration, and workflow testing.
• Maintain test environments, including basic server setup and troubleshooting.
• Review test results, investigate failures, identify root causes, and support corrective actions.
• Monitor DevOps pipelines and pull requests related to testing and releases.
• Document test cases, defects, results, and technical activities.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Product, and DevOps teams to improve product quality.

What You Likely Bring

• Basic understanding of software testing, automation, APIs, and the software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving, logical thinking, and algorithmic skills.
• Basic knowledge of Postman, JSON, SQL Server, or similar technologies preferred.
• Ability to learn new tools and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and willing to learn.

What Could Set You Apart

• One or more years of applicable experience, internship, or academic project experience in QA, test automation, software development, or a related field.
• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience with testing tools is not required; training will be provided.
• Equivalent education, training, or experience may be considered.
