Job Summary

As part of the Tetra Pak Internship Program, you'll gain hands-on experience through meaningful projects that contribute to our purpose of making food safe and available, everywhere. These positions are based in Querétaro, Mexico.

What you will do

As an Continuous Improvement Intern in Printing Area, you will:

  • Learn and develop in an industrial flexographic area, continuously evolving to high productivity level through people competence development, standardized work and customer focus mindset.

  • Collaborate to eradicate complex quality issues and achieve high level of autonomous maintenance in all areas.

  • Task simplification through reports automation, standard update using digital platforms and operational daily follow up are the main deliverables for this position

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial engineering, mechatronics, systems or related

  • Advanced level of English Language

  • Availability for internship: Jan 2027 to Dec 2027.

As an Continuous Improvement Intern in Coating area) you will:

  • Update and Improvement of Operational Procedures

  • Production Floor Visual Management for Loss Intelligence,

  • Improvement Project (Waste Reduction, Efficiency Improvement, Reliability Enhancement, etc.)

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial engineering, materials, mechatronics, or related

  • Intermediate level of English Language

  • Availability for internship: Jan 2027 to Dec 2027.

As an Quality Intern, you will:

  • Collaborate for driving automation initiatives and developing new process workflows aimed at optimizing resources within the department.

  • Be capable of identifying critical process paths, coordinating cross-functional requirements, and ensuring alignment with all relevant stakeholders and departments.

  • Improving and digitizing workflows related to internal complaints, process deviations, and SPC (Statistical Process Control) alarms.

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: industrial engineering, chemical, mechatronics, related

  • Advanced level of English Language

  • Availability for internship: Jan 2027 to Dec 2027.

As an Production Intern, you will:

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of extrusion processes, loss reduction methodologies, and digital performance management systems.

  • Identify losses during format/changeover activities and implement initiatives to improve inventory efficiency, helping prevent potential delivery delays.

  • Collaborate in production line balancing initiatives to optimize productivity, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial engineering, chemical, mechatronics, related

  • Advanced level of English Language

  • Availability for internship: Jan 2027 to Dec 2027.

As an Occupational Health and Safety Intern, you will:

  • Review and update of OHS documentation: procedures, policies, and legal compliance requirements

  • Nature Assessment Implementation Support

  • Training on internal platforms and documentation tools

  • Contribute to high-value projects, gaining experience in both the operational and strategic aspects of OHSE management.

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial engineer, Administration, Environmental Engineering or a related field.

  • Intermediate level of English Language.

  • Availability for internship: Jan 2027 to Dec 2027.

As Logistics Intern, you will:

  • In this area you will be responsible for the flow of Operational Diagrams, Time/Movements Measurements, Communication Flows between different areas, and more.

  • Develop a project of Logistics Efficiencies (loading time performance, unloading time performance).

  • Close communication with warehouse areas.

  • Collaboration with quality teams

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial engineer, Administration, Environmental Engineering or a related field.

  • Advanced level of English Language.

  • Availability for internship: Jan 2027 to Dec 2027.

As an Automation Intern, you will:

  • Fully understanding of project scope when it comes to machines to import what those will do and clear time regarding Estimated Time Arrival (ETA) according to project plan

  • Supported the documentation and management of component and machinery importation processes.

  • Coordinated with carriers and internal stakeholders to procure equipment that met technical specifications..

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Mechatronics engineering or any related

  • Advanced level of English Language

  • Availability for internship: Jan 2027 to Jun 2027.

We believe you have

  • Academic training in one of the areas suggested for the selected position.
  • Availability for a 6 month program: from January 2027 to December 2027 (Automation area).
  • Availability for a 1 year program: from January 2027 to December 2027 (Continuous Improvement: Printing; Continuous Improvement: Coating; Quality; Production; Occupational Health and Safety; Logistics areas).
  • Estimated graduation date: July 2027 or later (6 month program) / December 2027 or later (1 year program).
  • Availability to work onsite for 6 hours a day: Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 2 pm, for the entire duration of the internship program.

  • Video interview (September 7 – October 16).
  • Interview (October 19 – October 30).
  • Admission (November 2 – November 27.
  • Start Date: January 18, 2027.
