Job Overview
Analyzes and develops logistics plans to control the movement of commodities from storage to distribution and to ensure the smooth running of operations.
Job Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and update department related policies, procedures, instruction and implement company's policies ensure department's work compliance with company's direction and decision.
- Allocate tasks to subordinates, Training and motivating logistics employees, dealing with functional/human resource issues to achieve department's targets.
- In charge of daily warehouse operation, inbound & outbound control, stock taking, inventory accuracy, bin location planning, 5S and safety management.
- Standardize warehouse SOP, control goods damage, loss and slow-moving inventory, ensure 100% stock accuracy in SAP system;
- Monitor all materials/finish goods receiving/distributing/storing activities; Solve the key problems such as emergency materials reviewing or distributing; ensure materials and finish goods efficiently meet production requirement;
- Participate in the internal and external audit and ensure the audit run smoothly;
- Lead logistics team, arrange the daily work, conduct performance assessment and skill training. Provide monthly logistics report, cost analysis, delivery rate and inventory data for management review.
- Follow up and monitor all transactions in system and approved FDD and ensure SAP wm module operation efficiency.
- Monitor scrap material handling process and correct procedure when needed in order to ensure scrap material recall and sell under control.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor/Diploma degree in logistics, Supply Chian, International Trade or related majors.
- Minimum 5 years Malaysia local logistics working experience, familiar with local warehouse operation and import/export clearance procedures.
- Proficient in Malaysia customs policy, tariff rule and common clearance risks.
- Fluent in English (spoken & written) for daily official communication, Bahasa Malaysia.
- Familiar with SAP system and advanced Excel data analysis.
- Strong cost awareness, compliance awareness, problem-solving ability and pressure resistance.
- Full of EHS knowledge and EHS experience in warehouse.
What your background should look like
Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
