What You’ll Do
Represent IT with pride, support, enthusiasm and kindness across all manufacturing operations
Ensure minimal IT downtime for manufacturing by immediately responding to line-down situations
Troubleshoot hardware, software, HMI, operating systems, network issues, and printing problems with precision and speed
Install, support, patch, upgrade, replace, and remediate all IT hardware and software along manufacturing lines
Diagnose and resolve manufacturing software issues
Collaborate cross-functionally with process engineers, production associates, and application teams to resolve urgent, high-impact issues under tight deadlines
Improve manufacturing security posture by patching, updating, and securing vulnerable hardware and software
Interface with various manufacturing groups to understand issues and interpret long-term needs within IT Manufacturing standards
Provide on-call support and act as incident manager for swing and graveyard shifts
Resolve issues quickly and precisely to completion while prioritizing multiple tasks
What You’ll Bring
Experience troubleshooting, installing, replacing, imaging, patching, and updating IT hardware and software in manufacturing environments
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), manufacturing peripherals (thermal label printers, barcode scanners, hand-held radios, digital signage), and basic client-side networking (DHCP, DNS, Static IP)
Basic experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL and Python
Show competency in learning new software and functionality in various production systems
Must be flexible to work weekends, any shift, swing shift, and provide on-call support
Nice to Have
Prior experience with Linux environments and computer networking fundamentals
Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments
