Who could you be at GHD?
We’re looking for a Marketing Graduate to support the delivery of Smart Seeds and GHD New Zealand’s annual events and marketing programme.
Smart Seeds is a unique leadership and innovation programme that brings together emerging leaders from across industry to tackle complex challenges facing Aotearoa New Zealand. Over 10 weeks, participants in multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions before presenting ideas at a high-profile Showcase event.
This role will also help plan and deliver conferences, sponsorships, client events and GHD-led events across New Zealand. You’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of an event or programme: from planning and logistics through to communications, delivery and follow-up. Your work may include:
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of the Smart Seeds programme, including stakeholder communications, participant coordination and workshop logistics
- Support the planning and delivery of conferences, sponsorships, client events and GHD-led events (including developing implementation plans, timelines, run sheets and collateral)
- Coordinate conference and event logistics including registrations, speaker and presentation requirements, venues, suppliers, catering and delegate communications
- Assist with Salesforce administration, event reporting and post-event follow-up activities
- Provide editing, presentation and document support, ensuring client-facing materials and PowerPoint presentations align with GHD brand standards
What we’re looking for
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Have recently graduated (or a current student expecting to graduate by the end of 2026) with a degree majoring in areas such as Marketing, Communications, Event Management (or similar)
- Are highly organised, proactive, confident managing multiple priorities and working with and alongside a wide variety of stakeholders
- Have a passion for events, marketing, communications and creating great client experiences
- Are comfortable using PowerPoint and creating polished marketing collateral and client-facing materials (however we can help you build these skills)
- Are based in either Tauranga or Wellington, and ready to start alongside our Graduate Program cohort in February 2027

- Meet the team: If you’re successful, you’ll have a face-to-face interview (wherever possible) with your prospective team. We’ll chat through some behavioural based questions to learn more about your skills and experience. It’s also a chance for you to get to know us!
