Baycourt Community & Arts Centre is looking for a dynamic Marketing & Ticketing Manager to lead the team responsible for getting audiences through Baycourt's doors and into unforgettable experiences.

From international touring productions and local theatre, to community events, conferences, festivals and everything in between, Baycourt is at the heart of arts, culture and entertainment in Tauranga. Te Tūranga | About the role

As the Marketing & Ticketing Manager, you'll lead the marketing, communications, audience development and ticketing functions for our two city centre venues – Baycourt Community & Arts Centre and The Cargo Shed. You'll be responsible for creating and delivering campaigns that capture attention, build loyalty and drive attendance across a diverse range of events and activities.

You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, using customer insights, creativity and commercial acumen to help Baycourt take the next step in its evolution.

No two days are the same. One day you might be launching a major festival season, the next analysing ticket sales trends, developing audience growth initiatives, or supporting a community event that's bringing people together in new and meaningful ways.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading Baycourt's marketing, audience development and ticketing strategies
• Delivering campaigns that drive attendance, engagement and revenue
• Using customer insights and data to grow audiences and enhance experiences
• Building strong relationships with promoters, stakeholders and community partners
• Leading and developing a high-performing marketing and ticketing team.

Ngā Pukenga | What you’ll need to succeed

You'll be an experienced marketing leader who enjoys both strategy and execution. You're comfortable working with data, motivated by results, and genuinely excited about connecting people with experiences they'll remember.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Experience in a senior marketing, audience development, ticketing or communications role
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills
• A proven track record delivering successful campaigns and commercial results
• Confidence using customer data, CRM and ticketing systems
• A passion for arts, events, culture and community connection.
