Subfamily Description
Procurement (PRO) associate is responsible for specifying procurement demands, selecting and contracting suppliers, maintaining supplier relationships, and managing the supplier lifecycle, including supplier performance, risk, and phase-out for direct materials, services, and indirect materials.
As a Junior Sourcing Analyst, you will support sourcing operations by maintaining procurement data, assisting with contract administration, preparing analyses and reports, and collaborating with global stakeholders to ensure sourcing activities are executed efficiently and in compliance with company processes.
This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their sourcing or procurement career who enjoys working with data, has strong analytical skills, and wants to grow in an international and collaborative environment.
- Support day-to-day sourcing activities by maintaining accurate supplier, pricing, and contract information across procurement systems
- Assist Category Managers with operational sourcing activities, contract administration, RFQ preparation, and supplier-related requests
- Maintain contract records, pricing, terms and conditions, and other procurement documentation to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Support supplier onboarding activities, including vendor creation, updates, and data maintenance
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and analyses to support sourcing decisions and business requirements
- Help resolve pricing discrepancies and contract-related issues by collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Support e-sourcing activities and sourcing events by maintaining documentation and system data
- Contribute to supplier performance reporting and operational follow-up activities
- Ensure compliance with company procurement processes, policies, and regulatory requirements, including SOX
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate effectively with global procurement teams and internal business stakeholders
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, operations, finance, or data analysis (internship or trainee experience may be considered)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, formulas)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple activities, and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
Nice to have:
- Basic understanding of sourcing or procurement processes
- Experience working with ERP or procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, Oracle, etc.)
- Knowledge of contract management processes
- Experience working in an international or multicultural environment
- Interest in the telecommunications or technology industry
