Role Purpose
Coordinate health, safety, and environmental requirements across the Film Studio asset, supporting safe activation, handover, and day-to-day operations. The role ensures contractors, employees, tenants, productions, and service providers comply with applicable HSE procedures, risk controls, permits, inspections, and reporting requirements while supporting a safe and production-ready operating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, site rules, statutory requirements, and operational safety standards across the Film Studio asset.
- Support safety readiness for activation, commissioning, handover, testing, workshops, productions, tenant operations, and temporary installations.
- Coordinate contractor inductions, permits to work, risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct site inspections, safety observations, audits, and walkthroughs across studios, workshops, backlots, offices, and operational areas.
- Maintain risk registers, incident logs, corrective action trackers, inspection records, and HSE documentation repositories.
- Support incident reporting, investigation, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned implementation.
- Coordinate HSE requirements for productions, equipment movement, set builds, temporary structures, special effects, workshops, and high-risk activities.
- Monitor contractor and service provider compliance with site safety requirements and escalate non-compliance where required.
- Support emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, first-aid readiness, fire safety coordination, and response planning.
- Coordinate with Facilities, Security, Operations, Commercial, Procurement, and Corporate Enablement teams on safety dependencies and risk controls.
- Support development and implementation of HSE procedures, checklists, safety campaigns, and training materials.
- Review operational readiness plans and identify safety gaps before productions, tenant activity, or facility opening milestones.
- Prepare HSE reports, inspection summaries, incident dashboards, and compliance updates for management review.
- Support environmental controls, waste management coordination, housekeeping standards, and sustainability-related safety practices where applicable.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through communication, coaching, and visible site engagement.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Management, or related field.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in HSE coordination, occupational safety, operational risk management, or site safety.
- Experience in construction handover, facilities operations, events, studios, entertainment venues, or complex operational sites preferred.
- Experience managing contractor safety, inspections, incident investigations, and permit-to-work processes.
Preferred Background
- Film studios, entertainment venues, event environments, hospitality assets, facilities operations, construction-to-operations handover, or operational activation environments.
- Experience supporting commissioning, operational activation, production safety, and temporary works preferred.
Technical & Functional Expectations
- Strong knowledge of HSE standards, risk assessments, inspections, incident management, and permit-to-work processes.
- Ability to coordinate contractor and production safety in fast-changing operational environments.
- Strong documentation, reporting, corrective-action tracking, and compliance monitoring capability.
- Strong communication and site-stakeholder coordination skills.
