Accounting & Reporting Specialist

About this Position

This position offers strong exposure to financial reporting within a multinational environment, with a particular focus on IFRS reporting, financial statements, and related controls. The role combines a solid accounting foundation with a strong reporting focus, playing an active part in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting processes while ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial information. You will work closely with Finance teams, business units, external auditors, and international stakeholders, while contributing to financial analyses, accounting-related projects, and continuous improvement of reporting processes.

What you´ll do

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual and plan financial statements under IFRS
• Active involvement in accounting and controlling projects
• Execution of financial analyses
• Advisor to local Finance organization for accounting related questions
• Managing external auditor for closing activities
• Business partnering with Henkel’s business units and functions for accounting related questions
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities requested by the management
• Local point of contact for Intercompany and fixed asset processes.

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• 3-4 years of relevant work experience in external reporting of a multinational company or an international audit company preferred
• Knowledge about IFRS accounting, legal and fiscal requirements of Turkey
• Knowledge in MS Office and SAP
• Must have good English communication skills and with experience in handling multinational stakeholders
• SMMM is a plus
• Highly motivated to grow in financial area, proactive and open-minded team player with strong analytical skills.
