Program Summary

KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.

Job Summary

Coordinates and expedites the flow of material, parts, and assemblies. Establishes and communicates completion dates for deliverables. Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and rates. Maintains related records. Stamps identify information and shipping instructions on containers. Contact vendors by mail, phone, or visit, to requisition materials and verify or ensure shipment of goods on promised dates. Arranges for distribution of materials upon arrival. Inspects products for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications. Works to meet schedules and support requirements to meet customer satisfaction. Resolves most questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher level of support. May assist in orientating and training lower-level employees. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Performs physical inventories of Government Furnished, Contractor Acquired, and KBR-Owned Property at all UA BOS Sites as directed.
  • Inputs results of the physical inventories into the electronic Accountable Property System of Record (APSR)
  • Facilitates with Property Custodians the turn-in of excess/unserviceable Government Furnished, Contractor Acquired, and KBR-Owned Property, to include generating Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Electronic Turn-In Documents and scheduling turn-in events at DLA.
  • Performs Project VAT Exemption Form Approval Program
  • Performs physical receipt of Government Furnished, Contractor Acquired, and/or KBR Owned-Property, to include the documentation and reporting of discrepancies incident to shipment, at all UA BOS Sites as directed.
  • Performs requisitioning or receiving of Government Furnished, Contractor Acquired, and/or KBR Owned-Property in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system at all UA BOS Sites as directed.
  • Work may require lifting up to 50 lbs., stooping, climbing, prolonged standing and sitting.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Mandatory Business Travel (Spain & Turkey) a minimum of 3x annually
  • Read/comprehend manuals, publications, and other applicable supply related guidance, as well as, research parts, coordinate with buyers and vendors.
  • Complete all necessary trainings to have authorization getting into AF systems (ETID/EESOH-MIS) and ERP/APSR systems.
  • Utilize advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite and other tools) to develop professional reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and government officials via telephone, computer, and in-person
  • Meet performance expectations, establish priorities, proceed with objectives, and resolve reoccurring problems while working with minimal supervision.
  • Daily use of organizational and multitasking abilities with a focus on detail, accuracy and quality of work

Basic Qualifications

  • Turkish Citizen
  • Capable to speak, read, write, and understand English Language “Minimum Level III”
  • Have a current driver’s license (minimum “B” Class)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with supply, warehousing, researching, and acquisition.
  • Experience with CostPoint ERP & Inventory Management (especially in Purchase Requisitions and Inventory Management)

All positions require the applicant to obtain and pass a medical physical that is certified by a doctor.

All positions require a current and favorable Turkish Security background check.

All male candidates must have completed their military service.
