Duties: Drive strategic initiatives by identifying, analyzing, and leading data-driven projects while developing and presenting compelling business cases with detailed metrics and insights. Perform in-depth data analysis by conducting root cause assessments, data mapping, and impact evaluations to support process improvements and automation opportunities. Enhance data management by utilizing Business Intelligence tools and advanced analytics methodologies including AI, machine learning and natural language processing to automate, transform, and optimize reporting and visualization. Support cross-functional collaboration by working closely with operations, technology, middle office, finance, compliance, and controls to ensure effective coordination and timely delivery of strategic projects. Transform processes by collaborating with data transformation teams and stakeholders to convert manual tasks into automated solutions, reducing exceptions and boosting operational efficiency. Oversee project management by applying Agile methodologies and standard project management tools to plan, execute, and monitor projects while maintaining consistent quality in deliverables. Foster continuous improvement by leveraging a diverse backlog of work to enhance development skills, drive engagement, and support data-driven decision-making within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics and Project Management, Electronics Engineering, Data and Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Data Operations, Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics and Project Management, Electronics Engineering, Data and Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Data Operations, Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Design and develop ETL workflows for data cleansing, transformation, and centralization from multiple sources to support trade analysis, using tools including SQL, Python, Alteryx or similar tools; creating and integrating REST APIs to enable seamless data exchange and support analytics across platforms; building visualizations for detailed data analysis and KPI reporting to senior management, utilizing tools including Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Python or similar technology; extracting actionable insights from unstructured text to inform business strategies and monitor compliance, as well as effectively summarizing and presenting key metrics and technical processes through charts using Microsoft Excel and clear documentation; using Microsoft PowerPoint and experience managing data analytics projects with agile methodologies and Jira for ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement.
