Dept. 1088 - Alchemy Trainer

Shift Time: 8:00 am - 5 pm

Pay Rate: $ 16.50 per hour

Summary:

The Alchemy Trainer is responsible for facilitating employee training and supporting the daily operation of the Alchemy Learning Management System (LMS) throughout the facility. This position serves as the primary on-site resource for employees and supervisors regarding training assignments, course completion, training records, and Alchemy system support.

The Alchemy Trainer works closely with Operations, Human Resources, Safety, Quality, and Production teams to ensure employees complete required training and maintain compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, and operational standards. This position requires a strong presence on the production floor and frequent interaction with employees, supervisors, trainers, and new hires.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Facilitate instructor-led, group, and individual training sessions using the Alchemy Learning Management System.
  • Proctor and assist employees utilizing Alchemy training kiosks.
  • Assign training curricula, learning paths, and required training courses.
  • Monitor employee training progress and completion status.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
  • Generate and distribute training reports to the Training & Development Team.
  • Track compliance training requirements and communicate training gaps or overdue assignments.
  • Assist employees with navigating the Alchemy system and resolving basic user issues.
  • Coordinate training schedules with supervisors and department leaders.
  • Support onboarding and new hire training activities.
  • Assist with the facility's 30-Day New Hire Trainers Program and other production training initiatives as needed.
  • Reinforce company policies, food safety requirements, GMPs, safety procedures, and operational standards through training activities.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required.

One year of experience in a manufacturing, food production, human resources, training, safety, quality, or related environment preferred.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, company policies, training materials, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports, correspondence, and training documentation. Ability to effectively present information and conduct training sessions for groups of employees at various organizational levels.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, ratios, and basic statistical information. Ability to analyze training completion metrics and produce accurate reports.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to identify training gaps, prioritize assignments, troubleshoot basic system issues, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Computer Skills:

Must be comfortable using computers on a daily basis and navigating software applications. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, electronic reporting systems, and Learning Management Systems (Alchemy preferred) is preferred.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee will divide time between office, classroom, training kiosk, and production environments. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, varying temperatures, noise, and other conditions typical of a poultry processing facility. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud depending upon the area of the facility.
