As Assistant Park Manager at Barber Park, you’ll help make those experiences possible every day.

You’ll supervise and develop employees, coordinate maintenance and contracted services, support programs and special events, respond to operational needs, and help ensure every part of the park is safe, clean, functional, welcoming, and ready for the community.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on, people-centered leader who enjoys balancing field operations with customer service, staff leadership, problem-solving, and event activation. Your work will directly support Greensboro’s commitment to a vibrant, healthy, and equitable park system.
Greensboro Parks & Recreation is nationally accredited and a four-time National Gold Medal Award winner for Parks and Recreation Excellence. We’re continuing to invest in our parks, strengthen partnerships, expand programming, and create transformational experiences for residents and visitors.
