As an intern, you will have the chance to explore the vital role of human resources in driving our University Relations strategies. Throughout the program, you will receive exposure to the field and valuable insights into potential career paths.
We offer competitive compensation, including a housing stipend for eligible candidates. Please note that relocation to Providence, Rhode Island is required for the duration of the program.
How You Can Contribute
- Support Talent Acquisition projects & initiatives to drive Textron talent strategy and assist with developing creative solutions for University Relations efforts and Leadership Development Program design and execution
- Research, design, and develop solutions to assigned projects and tasks related to candidate experience, talent programs, and candidate profiles and assessments.
- Develop recruitment marketing materials
- Draft communications to Business Units on recruiting updates
- Leverage tools and platforms to support recruitment strategies and candidate engagement
- Assist with a variety of human resources processes and administration
- Suggest potential alternatives to current processes to improve efficiency and timeliness
- Represent human resources on cross-functional teams when assigned
- Protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records including, but not limited to, personal and compensation information about employees.
- Assist with upcoming events and planning.
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Eagerness to continuously learn and develop business acumen

- Must be enrolled as a full-time college student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related degree program
