Standard Job Description
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an early career integration and flight test engineer to support Air Dominance. The candidate will be part of a team responsible for aircraft platform integration and flight test on site at our customer sites. The role includes tasking where the candidate would need to understand drawings, schematics, technical drawings, military standards and Interface Control Documents (ICD). Systems engineering verification and validation is a key function of this role supporting the design of experience for flight testing, executing flight test, and authoring technical test reports. The candidate would be expected to understand the system functionality of the asset they are testing, perform hardware testing, and data analysis. The team is responsible for coordinating readiness reviews consisting of technical data packages that are presented to audiences of varying levels of technical management.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
Minimum 2 years of experience in systems hardware testing, hardware development, integration and test, systems requirements
Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience with competing Departmenf of Defense engineering company
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines - Experience with airborne platform flight testing
- Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex test data and provide recommendations for product design improvements
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure
accurate and reliable test results
Experience with preparing for Test Readiness and Flight Readiness Reviews - Experience with Missile systems
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00
