Team Leader, Supply Chain Planning - HOCO & AKAFA

  • Arla Foods
  • Holstebro, Denmark
  • DKK 650,000 – DKK 800,000

Are you passionate about network planning, people management and motivated by making data-driven decisions that optimize production capacity and balance customer service with operational excellence? This is a unique opportunity to step into a newly established leadership role at a time where HOCO is entering an exciting new phase, with growing business needs, increased strategic focus and a clear ambition to strengthen planning capabilities across the site. Join our dedicated Supply Chain Planning team where S&OE, stakeholder management and customer centricity go hand in hand.

“In Supply Chain Planning, we collaborate widely across teams to find solutions that work end to end. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a skilled and self-driven planning team while helping shape the future planning setup for HOCO and AKAFA. If you want to make a real impact across the two Casein and Milk Powder sites in Denmark, we’d love to hear from you,” says Associate Director SC Planning CBP DK, Steen Smed Schütze.

How you will make an impact

As Team Leader in Supply Chain Planning CBP (Cheese-Butter-Powder) DK, you will step into a newly established role with the opportunity to bring people, processes and systems closer together across HOCO in Holstebro and AKAFA in Aalborg. You will lead a team of five skilled Site Schedulers and play a key role in strengthening the planning setup, enabling more structured ways of working and supporting the continued development of HOCO as a site with increasing strategic importance. You will be based primarily in Holstebro, so frequent travel to Aalborg is required.

With a team that is highly capable in day-to-day operations, your role will be to set direction, create clear frameworks and facilitate alignment across sites, functions and key stakeholders. You will be responsible for achieving operational targets and delivering results that directly impact end-to-end delivery, while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and keep customers at the center.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Lead, coach and develop the planning teams to optimize production schedules, component and delivery planning with high service and cost efficiency across sites and the network
  • Link S&OP/E decisions to daily plans to ensure execution of corporate forecasts and market SLAs
  • Monitor KPIs, review planning procedures and drive waste reduction across site and supply chain
  • Maintain optimal stock levels of finished goods, ingredients and packaging to minimise working capital
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Site Directors, Production, Logistics, Demand Planning and Global Planning to secure stable operations and clear decision-making
  • Contribute to the continued development of planning processes, systems and ways of working, ensuring a more structured, scalable and future-fit setup across HOCO and AKAFA
  • Own performance management, including Delivery Accuracy, Waste, Plan Adherence and Continuous Improvement efforts
  • Manage risks and constraints, performing scenario planning and ensuring effective escalation and communication with stakeholders

What will make you successful

We are seeking a leader with a strong background in people and supply chain management. Experience from the FMCG industry is an advantage. Besides this, we expect that you

  • Hold a relevant bachelor's or master's degree
  • Ideally have 4–6 years of experience within planning as well as experience in leading employees
  • Are fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken)
  • Possess strong IT and ERP skills (particularly SAP)

On a more personal level, you bring an analytical, structured and collaborative mindset, and you know how to engage stakeholders across the business. You are curious and proactive, comfortable challenging the status quo and motivated by driving continuous improvements. As a collaborative communicator, you build positive relationships and influence across teams, while staying results-oriented and focused on consistently meeting KPIs.

What do we offer?

You’ll join a dynamic organization and a strong leadership team of Supply Chain Network Planning Managers.
