IT Networks and Support Specialist

Hardware and Software Management:

• Maintain and support all company hardware, including PCs, printers, mobiles, and tablets.

• Ensure that all necessary software is installed, updated, and functioning correctly.

• Install new hardware and software, and provide training to employees on their use.

• Oversee the installation of hardware at new sites or branches, ensuring adherence to approved plans and installation guides.

• Manage the purchasing of IT hardware and related needs.

Operational Duties:

• Execute daily operations assignments as per IT department needs.

• Follow established IT procedures to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve customer satisfaction.

• Implement and maintain IT protection measures, including encryption, secure data storage, and antivirus/malware solutions.

• Suggest potential upgrades and improvements within the IT department.

• Open, track, and close IT tickets, and communicate status and resolutions with supervisors.

Network and Security Maintenance:

• Regularly maintain the network infrastructure to meet ongoing demands.

• Assist in managing firewalls and VPNs to ensure security and effective communication across branches.

• Support the administration of surveillance camera networks, ensuring they are operational and in optimal condition daily.

• Assist with the installation and maintenance of access control systems, coordinating with HR to resolve attendance issues.

Requirements

• Get the appropriate qualification - Bachelor of Computer

• Proficiency in computer programs and the Internet and Office and Oracle.

• Courses (MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, Office, ICDL, AIX, CEH, Cyber Security)

• Computer hardware and software systems and programs

• Computer networks, network administration and network installation

• Computer troubleshooting

• Computer viruses and security

• E-mail and internet programs

• an understanding of the northern economic, cultural and political environment
