Senior Account Executive (US territory)

  • Simplesat
  • Pasig City, Philippines
  • PHP 1,200,000 – PHP 1,800,000

Company Description

Launched in 2016, Simplesat delivers customer feedback clarity for high-volume support teams. Over 1,000 brands use us to run CSAT, CES, NPS, and 5-star surveys inside the tools their teams already live in, then turn the results into something they can act on.

Our customers span SaaS and tech, e-commerce, IT services, and the public sector. Some teams process more than 10,000 responses a month across multiple brands and regions.

We plug into Zendesk, Gladly, Gorgias, Intercom, Freshdesk, HubSpot, Salesforce, Shopify, Klaviyo, ConnectWise, HaloPSA, Autotask, Slack, Teams, Power BI, and Snowflake. We are SOC 2 compliant and GDPR and CCPA ready. Teams go live in a day, not a quarter.

Our company headquarters are in Bangkok, Thailand. Learn more on our website: https://www.simplesat.io/

Job Description

We need a closer. Not a demo jockey, not a form filler, not someone who waits for marketing to hand them a warm lead with a bow on it.

Simplesat has more trials and demo requests than we can work properly. Deals sit. Follow-ups slip. Good-fit accounts go quiet because nobody chased them on day four. That is the problem you are here to fix.

You will own the full closing motion from first demo to signed deal, covering the US territory on a night shift from the Philippines. Roughly 100 active deals in your pipeline at any time. Roughly 30 closes a month once you are ramped.

You will not onboard anyone. We have a team for that.

Our buyers are practical. They are support leaders, CX directors, and operations managers who need to know what their customers actually think and who do not want another dashboard nobody opens. They respond to reps who understand their support workflow. They shut down reps who read a script.

Position overview:

  • Run the demos. Take demo requests and trial signups from first contact to close. Expect three to five live demos on a busy day, five to ten in a week, tailored to the prospect's helpdesk, CRM, or PSA rather than a generic slide tour.
  • Work the trials. A large share of our pipeline starts as a self-serve trial. Reach out, find out what they are trying to fix, get them to value fast, and convert them before the trial dies of neglect.
  • Own the follow-up. This is where most reps lose deals and where you will win them. Multi-touch sequences, real cadence discipline, and no deal going dark because you forgot it existed.
  • Keep the pipeline clean. Around 100 active deals, every one with a next step, an accurate stage, and a close date you would defend out loud. We forecast off your data.
  • Close. Handle pricing conversations, objections, security questions, and procurement. Get the signature.
  • Feed the product and marketing loop. You hear the objections first. We want them written down and shared, not lost in your head.
  • Hand off cleanly. Once a deal closes, brief the onboarding team and step back into the pipeline.

What you will not do:

  • Onboard or implement accounts. Our onboarding team handles that.
  • Provide ongoing account management or renewals.
  • Cold call from scratch as your primary motion. Most of your pipeline comes to you.
  • Handle tier one support tickets.

The numbers:

  • Active pipeline: around 100 deals
  • Closed deals per month: around 30 once ramped
  • Live demos per week: 5 to 10
  • Average sales cycle: two to eight weeks, with a long tail
  • Ramp to full quota: 90 days

This is a high-velocity motion with a mid-market tail. Most of your volume comes from SMB and mid-sized support teams that move fast. A smaller share are larger accounts with multiple stakeholders, security review, and procurement. You need to be good at both and you need to know which one you are in.

Qualifications

You gotta be:

  • A closer, not a presenter - The demo is not the job. Getting the signature is the job.
  • Organized by default - You have a system for follow-up and you can describe it in thirty seconds.
  • A strong writer - Most of this role is written re-engagement, not live calls. Your emails have to earn a reply.
  • Direct - If a forecast is soft, you say so early. We would rather have an uncomfortable conversation in week one than a surprise miss in week twelve.
  • Honest with data - If HubSpot says it, it is true. No happy-ears forecasting.
  • Weird - Because normal is boring.

Requirements:

  • Five or more years closing SaaS deals, with at least two years carrying a quota you actually hit
  • Proven experience in a high-volume motion. You have carried 60 or more open deals at once and did not drown
  • You have run your own demos. Not shadowed them. Run them.
  • Fluent, confident English on video with North American buyers. Clear, direct, comfortable disagreeing.
  • Serious CRM discipline. HubSpot experience preferred. You update deals the same day, not the day before the forecast call.
  • Able to work the US night shift long term, 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM Philippines time, Monday to Friday
  • A home setup that supports it: quiet space, fiber connection, backup power or backup internet
  • Based in the Philippines and able to attend a monthly in-person team meeting in Manila

Nice to have:

  • You have sold to support, CX, or customer operations leaders
  • You know the helpdesk and CRM landscape: Zendesk, Intercom, Gorgias, Gladly, Freshdesk, HubSpot. Knowing the MSP side too, ConnectWise, HaloPSA, Autotask, is a bonus.
  • Experience selling into e-commerce or SaaS support teams
  • You have handled a mid-market deal end to end, including security review and procurement
  • Experience converting product-led trials, not just outbound-sourced meetings
  • You have worked in a small company where nobody hands you a playbook

This is not for you if:

  • You need a six-month cycle and an SDR team to function
  • You think the demo is the job
  • You describe your pipeline as pretty good without a number attached

Hiring process

  1. Application review. We read every one.
  2. Screening call, 30 minutes. Fit, motivation, comp range, shift reality.
  3. Live demo exercise, 45 minutes, plus a short written task. We give you Simplesat and a prospect brief 48 hours ahead. You run a real demo for us and send us one follow-up email based on a scenario we provide. This step is the core of our decision.
  4. Pipeline and process interview, 45 minutes. Walk us through how you would manage 100 deals.
  5. Final conversation with the Head of Growth, 30 minutes.
  6. References, then offer.

Start to finish, two to three weeks. We move fast and we tell you where you stand at every step.

📩 How to apply

Apply through the form on this page. Answer these three questions in the application. Keep it under 300 words total.

  1. What is the largest number of open deals you have personally managed at one time, and what system did you use to stay on top of them?
  2. Describe a deal you closed that you were losing. What changed it?
  3. What is your quota attainment for the last four quarters? Give real numbers.

Applications without answers to these three questions will not be reviewed. We are testing whether you follow instructions and whether you know your own numbers. Both matter in this job.
