Who we are looking for

For our fast‑growing Cloud & Engineering practice in Central Europe we are looking for Databricks Data Engineers to join our team. The candidate will be part of a larger team with various experience levels, responsible for delivering a new data platform. 🚀

The primary goal is to build a highly scalable and secure platform that will replace the currently used Data Warehouse and ETL/ELT pipelines. 🔐

The platform will integrate data from multiple sources, including high‑volume streaming data. 🔄

The implementation process will include business and functional analysis, platform architecture design, data model design, platform and ELT process implementation, as well as data migration and testing. ✨

Skills & requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Advanced knowledge of PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Knowledge of ETL tools.
• Experience working with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, testing, and modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to read code and understand the ETL processes.
• Experience with batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Good communication in English is a must.
• Team player, able to lead and drive the topics in the team.
• EU work permit.

Your future role

Must have experience with:

• Data integration / Data migration practices.
• Support and extend the existing data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Transfer data from data warehouse and SQL database to Databricks.
• Design and implement Bronze / Silver / Gold data layers.
• Resolve challenges related to replication and permission constraints.
• Work with CDC (Change Data Capture) integration patterns.
• Support and optimize Databricks data models and transformations.
