HR Trainee – Tamheer Program

Job Summary

The HR Trainee – Tamheer Program is responsible for supporting the Human Resources Team with day-to-day HR activities, employee services, documentation, coordination, and administrative tasks in Dhahran.

The role provides practical exposure to key HR functions, including recruitment support, employee records, onboarding, attendance follow-up, training coordination, HR reporting, and internal communication. The trainee will work closely with the HR Team and other departments to ensure that HR processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

This opportunity is suitable for recent graduates who are registered and eligible for the Tamheer programme, have an interest in Human Resources, and are seeking practical experience in a professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Human Resources Team with daily administrative and operational activities.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating employee records, personnel files, HR databases, and related documentation.
  • Support recruitment activities, including preparing vacancy information, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, and following up with candidates when required.
  • Assist with onboarding activities for new employees, including document collection, joining formalities, and coordination with relevant departments.
  • Prepare HR letters, forms, reports, trackers, presentations, and other documents as requested.
  • Support attendance, leave, and employee information follow-up in coordination with the HR Team.
  • Assist with employee enquiries and direct requests to the appropriate HR team member or department.
  • Support the coordination of training programmes, meetings, employee activities, and internal HR initiatives.
  • Help collect, organise, and verify HR data for reports and management updates.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information and HR-related documents.
  • Follow established HR policies, procedures, systems, and document-control requirements.
  • Complete assigned tasks and follow up on pending matters to support timely closure.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the HR function.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Preferred academic majors include:

    • Human Resources Management
    • Business Administration
    • Management
    • Organisational Psychology
    • Public Administration
    • Other related disciplines
  • Must be eligible and registered for the Tamheer programme in accordance with the applicable Human Resources Development Fund requirements.

  • Must meet the Tamheer eligibility conditions applicable at the time of application.

  • Recent graduates with no previous or limited practical experience are preferred.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Good command of English, spoken and written, is an advantage.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.

  • Ability to work from the company’s location in Dhahran and attend the programme in accordance with the required schedule.

Reporting Line
The HR Trainee reports to the Human Resources Team and works closely with employees, line managers, department representatives, and other internal stakeholders.
