Job Description
This position provides actuarial services including supporting, maintaining, and measuring insurance products. The incumbent is responsible for providing actionable information that enables good business decisions along with designing and managing project initiatives and business processes within the job area.

Provide actuarial analysis and regulatory support for individual and group dental and vision products through pricing, experience analysis, and rate filing development activities. This position serves as a key contributor to actuarial projects and product initiatives, applying actuarial expertise to support profitable growth, regulatory compliance, and product management objectives while collaborating with business partners across the organization.

This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.

What you do:

  • Perform pricing, experience, trend, and profitability analyses for individual dental and vision products.
  • Support product management initiatives through financial analysis, forecasting, and evaluation of proposed product changes.
  • Monitor product performance and investigate emerging experience trends, utilization patterns, and risk factors.
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models, pricing tools, and reporting processes used to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Operations, Underwriting, and Finance to gather information and complete actuarial projects.
  • Prepare actuarial analyses supporting dental and vision rate filings, including development of filing exhibits, actuarial memoranda, and regulator response.
  • Provide actuarial support for regulatory examinations, audits, and state insurance department inquiries.
  • Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent required.
  • ASA designation required, active pursuit of FSA strongly preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Dental actuarial experience desired.

About this Position's Pay

The pay range posted reflects a nationwide minimum to maximum covering all potential locations where the position may be filled. The final determination on pay for any position will be based on multiple factors including role, career level, work location, skill set, and candidate level of experience to ensure pay equity within the organization. This position will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits package (see above for details). This position will be eligible to participate in our Short-Term Incentive Plan with the annual target defined by the plan.
