Summary
Zimmerman seeks an experienced full-time Finance Technician, specializing in Utility Billing. Duties include assisting customers in person, by phone and email, processing manual and electronic payments, coordinating service requests, meter readings, water shut-offs and certification of delinquent utilities, as well as supporting main office operations and other clerical duties as needed. Work is performed under the supervision of the Clerk/Treasurer.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Two-year degree in accounting, bookkeeping, data entry, or related field of study desired. Minimum three years’ experience performing same or similar duties involving regular public contact. Must be proficient in Word and Excel software. Experience with Banyon Utility Billing and Fund Accounting programs preferred.
