Essential responsibilities

• Lead APQP advanced product quality planning for new projects.

• Organize the preparation and review of quality documents including DFMEA, PFMEA and control plan.

• Identify potential product and process quality risks.

• Drive quality verification during prototype and pilot production phases.

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action closure for quality issues.

• Ensure compliance with customer PPAP approval requirements.

• Communicate with OEM customers on quality requirements.

• Align customer quality standards, organize internal quality reviews.

• Identify and resolve early-stage quality risks of new projects in advance.

• Establish and maintain the software quality management system.

• Manage the quality team (Test/QA), set team objectives and performance assessment.

• Coordinate cross-departmental communication and conflicts related to quality with R&D.

• Manage other project quality relative issues.

Desired candidate profile `

• Bachelor' degree, 10+ years' relative working experience.

• With at least 8 years of working experience in pre-project quality for automotive parts or complete vehicles.

• With more than 2 years of working experience in software quality.

• Proficient in 5 core automotive quality tools: APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA.

• Familiar with IATF16949 system, OEM project interface experience is preferred.

• Excellent cross-department communication, issue driving and team management skills.

• Strong risk prediction capability, able to independently organize quality reviews and handle major quality abnormalities of new projects.

• Familiar with software development workflow (Agile/Waterfall), defect management.

• Good spoken & written English.
