Job Description
Senior/Advanced FPGA Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- FPGA Development:
Design, implement, verify, and maintain FPGA solutions for CT Gantry and Couch systems.
Develop RTL code using Verilog/VHDL.
Perform FPGA timing closure, resource optimization, and performance tuning.
- Motion & Control Systems:
Develop FPGA-based motion control algorithms for Gantry rotation and Couch positioning.
Support high-precision synchronization and real-time control applications.
- Hardware Integration:
Collaborate with electrical engineers on board-level architecture and interface design.
Support hardware bring-up, integration, and debugging activities.
- Verification & Product Quality
Create simulation environments and verification plans.
Conduct FPGA functional verification and system validation.
Support design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance activities.
You're the right fit if:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in:
- Electrical Engineering/ Electronic Engineering/Automation/ Computer Engineering
- 8+ years FPGA development experience.
- Strong experience with: Verilog and/or VHDL
- Xilinx or Intel FPGA platforms
- FPGA simulation and debugging tools
- High-speed digital interfaces
- Experience in one or more of: Motion Control/Servo Control/ Industrial Automation/ Medical Devices/ Robotics
- Familiar with: PCIe/ Ethernet/ DDR Memory/ SPI/I2C/UART
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.
- Good English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CT, MRI, X-Ray, Imaging System experience.
- Gantry, Couch, Motion Subsystem development experience.
- FPGA-based real-time control architecture development experience.
- Functional Safety or Medical Device development experience.
- Experience working in global R&D organizations.
