About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager who is ready to lead our Engineering Systems department with 10 specialized engineers and shape the next generation of NNE’s engineering software and AI usuage landscape. In this role, you will bring together people leadership, stakeholder engagement, digital transformation, and AI initiatives to build engineering systems that create real business impact—today and tomorrow. For the engineering software landscape, you will continuously improve and execute a life-cycle management process for licenses and application performance.

For the AI usage landscape, you will support and assist the VP area in assessing whether a proven solution already exists on the market, whether it needs to be built internally, and what that would realistically take. In close collaboration with stakeholders across NNE and colleagues in India, you will drive standardization, spark innovation, and accelerate the adoption of new technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.

A key part of the role is to spot opportunities, turn ideas into action, and implement AI-enabled solutions that boost engineering productivity, quality, and efficiency—helping shape the future of engineering at NNE.

How you might spend your days

As a Senior Manager for Engineering Systems you’ll be:

• Leading and growing a strong team ready to deliver on business and project needs.
• Owning the software landscape from licenses and vendors to performance and lifecycle.
• Driving digital development by turning business needs into clear roadmaps and solutions.
• Connecting teams across NNE and India to align, share knowledge, and deliver globally.

What you bring to the role

In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role:

• One thing is your degree, which can be in data science, engineering, information technology or a related discipline but, what is key is an experience working with digitalization and software engineering within pharma or food manufacturing .
• 8-10 years of experience working with Engineering systems, digital solutions or technology management.
• Experience managing software portfolios, vendors, licenses or enterprise applications.
• Experience leading teams and developing employees in a technical environment.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English, with experience working across global organizations.
