Position Title: Logistics Assistant

Location: 6th October City, Cairo, Egypt

Position Overview

H.B. Fuller seeks an Import & Export Coordinator to manage international logistics operations and ensure the compliant, cost-effective movement of goods across global supply chains. This role coordinates shipments, customs clearance activities, and trade documentation while working closely with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders. The position supports business continuity by ensuring on-time deliveries, regulatory compliance, and efficient logistics execution.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end import and export shipments, including booking, transportation, and tracking
  • Prepare and review shipping documents to ensure compliance with international trade requirements
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to resolve shipment issues
  • Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery against business and customer requirements
  • Manage ACID registration and NAFEZA documentation processes
  • Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with Egyptian import regulations
  • Verify freight, customs, and logistics invoices in SAP and track logistics costs
  • Prepare reports on shipment status, costs, and logistics performance metrics

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in import/export operations, customs, or international logistics
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong negotiation, communication, follow-up, and organizational skills
  • Authorization to work in the applicable location and knowledge of international trade documentation

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with ACID, NAFEZA, and Egyptian customs clearance processes
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Proven ability to identify logistics cost-saving opportunities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
