Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Corporate Engineering team. This role is located in Pune

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Lead the design and implementation of full stack solutions using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications for performance and scalability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proactively identify opportunities to simplify experiences, reduce operational toil, and streamline workflows, sparking progress across our platforms.
• Demonstrate BNY’s principles—Be Client Obsessed, Own It, Stay Curious, Thrive Together—through your delivery, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• AI ready and contribute to AI initiatives and solutions.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and align to agile ways of working

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or related Engineering.
• 8-15 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related IT occupation.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Proficiency in back-end technologies (e.g., Java, Big Data, Node.js, Python).
• Experience with databases and analytical tools (e.g SQL,Snowflake).
• Experience in using AI tools and solutions (e.g Windsurf/Devin/CoPilot/Coding assistants).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to deployment of applications in production region.
• Experience in leading a small team
• Experience in managing stakeholder communication.
