The Challenge Ahead
The EA Digital Platform (EADP) organisation drives critical technology decisions and investments for EA globally, across divisions and studio teams. The EADP team provides cross-platform infrastructure and services that keep consumers connected with our games anytime, anywhere, with anyone.
Responsibilities
- You will build and integrate tools to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- You and your team will create game call pattern simulation code in C++/Scala to support applications and features.
- You need to perform stress and load testing, including test design and gameplay-driven scenarios.
- You will evaluate actual game logs to create accurate load representations.
- Set up and run tests and create load.
- Implement tests and provide accurate analysis of test results.
- Analyse and troubleshoot system and network issues related to performance and test automation processes.
- Troubleshoot issues identified during testing and isolate test issues versus system component issues.
- Collaborate with peers to track and resolve issues.
- Communicate test status and result to the team.
- Follow EA's policies, NDAs, and security guidelines.
Qualifications
- Pursuing BTech/B. E in CS and IT and eligible for Jan to June month internship
- Knowledge of programming languages like C++/Scala/Python.
- Knowledge of cloud systems like AWS, or GCP/Azure.
- Knowledgeable in scalable platform architecture, end-to-end systems design and architecture.
- Familiarity with visualization tools like Grafana and database technologies such as MySQL and Redis.
- Execution, technical innovation/adaptation, and initiative.
