Role Summary

Responsible for design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support of mission-critical liquidity management and cash management platforms. Works closely with senior engineers and business partners while gradually taking ownership of increasingly complex capabilities.

The role follows a product-team model where engineers are responsible for both development and operational support of the applications they build.

Required Technical Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, system integration, database design, and back-end architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant fields such as Computer Science, or a Master’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science.
• Learning mindset, Production support mindset, Financial domain knowledge
• Backend - Strong hands-on experience in Python and/or Java, Knowledge of Golang preferred, API development, Microservices architecture, SQL and data access patterns
• Frontend Angular or React
• Cloud & DevOps - AWS, ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines
• Engineering Practices - Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, Automated testing, Debugging and troubleshooting, Production support

Key Responsibilities

Software Engineering

• Design and develop application enhancements.
• Build secure, scalable cloud-native solutions.
• Create automated tests and maintain code quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews.

Product Support

• Monitor production systems.
• Troubleshoot incidents and defects.
• Participate in support rotations when required.
• Drive root-cause analysis and preventive improvements.

Collaboration

• Work closely with architects, tech leads, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to design discussions.
• Document solutions and system behaviors.

Learning & Growth

• Develop expertise in liquidity management and cash management platforms.
• Learn new technologies rapidly.
• Continuously improve engineering and domain knowledge.

Location

This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana at Vanguard India. Only qualified external applicants will be considered.
