As a BI Developer, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision making across Koch businesses by designing and delivering impactful visualization solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and global teams to transform complex data into intuitive dashboards and visual products that create value. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple business domains while leveraging modern BI technologies to solve meaningful business challenges.

Our Team

The Analytics Visualization team is part of a global organization that designs, develops, and delivers innovative analytics solutions across Koch businesses. Supporting Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) and other Koch companies, the team partners with business leaders to create scalable reporting, visualization, and analytics products that improve decision making and business performance.

Working within Koch Global Services in India, you will collaborate with colleagues across multiple regions and functions, gaining exposure to diverse business processes, global stakeholders, and advanced analytics initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualization products using Power BI, Tableau, and other BI technologies.
  • Create compelling visual storytelling solutions that highlight key business metrics, KPIs, and trends.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable dashboard designs and data visualization strategies.
  • Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to identify the most effective ways to communicate insights and analytical outcomes.
  • Develop and optimize data models, visual layouts, calculations, and performance of BI solutions.
  • Work with data from multiple domains including Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Travel & Expense, and Operational Excellence.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy, reliability, and usability of reporting solutions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards supporting advanced analytics and predictive modeling initiatives.
  • Implement and support role-level security and enterprise reporting standards.
  • Share technical knowledge, mentor peers, and contribute to continuous improvement within the analytics community.
  • Collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience developing business intelligence and visualization solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
  • Experience creating dashboards that deliver actionable business insights and support decision making.
  • Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and integrating data into BI visualization platforms.
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts and techniques, including data model optimization.
  • Experience implementing security models and role-based access controls within BI solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple projects and priorities.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience leading enterprise-scale BI implementation projects.
  • Experience managing or mentoring BI teams.
  • Advanced expertise in Power BI or Tableau, including complex calculations, parameters, geographic mapping, and advanced visualization techniques.
  • Tableau certification.
  • Tableau Server Administration experience, including server setup, maintenance, migration, and high-availability environments.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience visualizing and analyzing unstructured data.
  • Experience working with SAP HANA.
  • Experience within a Data Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) environment.
  • Experience supporting global business organizations and cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
