Job Position : Senior Engineer, SQA
About the Role:
Key Purpose of Role:
The role requires testing in a fast-paced, time sensitive project and switch from one task to another and follow the work plan to meet project milestones.
Responsibility / Tasks:
- To develop and Execute Test Plans using technical requirements and design specifications as Input.
- To write test cases and execute
- To analyse test results, perform data validation, tracking defects and providing regular status.
- To analyse, troubleshoot and execute testing activities in Unix environment. Should be hands on Unix related systems and be able to dig logs to troubleshoot.
- Writing and executing medium level to complex level SQL queries
- To use different techniques while performing testing tasks related to database, backend processes and front-end applications.
- Documentation of install instruction and providing technical support are also required.
- Defect documentation
- Defect Verification
- To work on Scrum methodologies
- To identify the quality KPI’s and ensure the compliance at each stage.
Testing methodologies
- Software Testing experience with Web, GUI, Database and Client/Server applications on multiple platforms
- Experience with testing .Net (Database/Other) applications
- Experience with Unix
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
