What you will learn: commodity management, cost analysis, Cost and Value engineering, project execution, supplier and technology scouting, and AI-enabled procurement operations.

What will you do?

• Commodity cost analytics and global reporting: Analyze commodity cost developments and cost drivers; prepare data analytics, dashboards, and management-ready reports that support global Purchasing Councils and procurement decision-making, contract negotiations and contract implementation.

• CVE project and BOM support: Support Cost and Value Engineering projects, including bill of materials (BOM) creation, data collection, cost transparency, action tracking, and implementation follow-up with procurement, engineering, and other stakeholders.

• CVE Lab management: Support the day-to-day operation of the Cost and Value Engineering Lab, including equipment and sample coordination, documentation, workplace organization, and follow-up of agreed actions.

• Pooling Direct procurement project management: Coordinate and follow up Pooling Direct procurement projects; maintain action lists, milestones, KPI status, risks, and stakeholder communication to support timely execution.

• Supplier and technology market scouting: Research emerging technologies, new suppliers, manufacturing capabilities, and supply-market developments; structure findings and support initial supplier assessment and benchmarking.

• AI and digitalization: Use AI, Microsoft 365, and other digital tools to automate KPI reporting, improve project management, strengthen follow-up discipline, and reduce repetitive administrative work.

What do you need to qualify?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, completed or close to completion, in Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.

• Fresh graduate with strong interest in strategic procurement, supply chain management, cost engineering, and industrial technology.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools for data analysis, research, reporting, or workflow automation through university projects, internships, competitions, or personal projects.

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams, or Copilot is an advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to turn data into clear insights and structured recommendations.

• Good project coordination, communication, and teamwork skills; comfortable working across functions and cultures.

• Professional working proficiency in English and Chinese.
