Data Engineer

In search of Data Engineer / Data Professional with 2–4 years of experience to join our data team. The ideal candidate should have a good foundation in data engineering, SQL, ETL/ELT, and data processing concepts, with the ability and willingness to learn modern data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.

Hands-on experience with Snowflake or Databricks is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with experience in other data technologies who have strong fundamentals and can quickly adapt to new platforms are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and data processing workflows.
• Work with structured and semi-structured data across different data sources.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
• Support ETL/ELT processes and data integration activities.
• Work with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
• Learn and apply technologies such as PySpark, Delta Lake, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory etc.. as required.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and resolve data pipeline issues.
• Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Follow good practices around coding, testing, documentation, and version control.

Required Skills

• 2–4 years of experience working with data, data engineering, analytics engineering, or related areas.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, or data transformation.
• Understanding of basic data warehousing and data modelling concepts.
• Exposure to at least one data processing, database, or cloud technology.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
