Job Purpose: Associate - WTG is responsible for supporting the operational efficiency and safety of wind turbine generators (WTGs) by achieving annual performance targets, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and managing preventive maintenance, testing, and calibration. The role focuses on optimizing business performance through effective inventory management, meeting budgetary goals, and participating in business excellence initiatives. Additionally, the Associate - WTG will contribute to CSR activities and maintain a safety-conscious culture while addressing critical site issues and ensuring timely reporting and compliance.

Operational Support and Performance Monitoring:

Monitor the performance of solar systems, ensuring that energy production targets are being met and all equipment is functioning efficiently. Assist in the analysis of operational metrics such as Performance Ratio (PR), Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF), Plant Availability (PA), and Grid Availability (GA). Collect performance data and identify potential areas for improvement, reporting findings to senior team members.

Safety and Compliance Support:

Adhere to safety protocols and ensure safe working conditions by following operational and safety guidelines. Participate in safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and safety audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Help maintain safety documentation and ensure timely submission of reports, including Joint Meter Readings (JMR) and other regulatory compliance reports.

Operational Procedure and Policy Support:

Follow established procedures and assist in recommending improvements for operational efficiency. Support the implementation of operational policies by providing feedback on procedures and identifying inefficiencies. Assist in collecting and analyzing feedback to suggest improvements in processes and procedures for better operational outcomes.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Assist in supporting cross-functional team efforts to improve system performance and resolve operational challenges. Provide support to senior team members in troubleshooting, data collection, and problem-solving.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation Support:

Participate in continuous improvement activities by suggesting minor process enhancements and providing input on operational best practices. Assist in the testing and adoption of new technologies or tools aimed at enhancing wind energy production or operational efficiency. Collect data and provide insights that contribute to optimizing solar operations and improving system reliability.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of performance data, maintenance activities, and safety compliance. Prepare reports on system performance, operational issues, and maintenance logs as required by the operations team. Assist in compiling data for senior management presentations, providing feedback on system performance and areas for improvement.

Educational Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma - Electrical or Mechanical or relevant to Energy Sector

Work Experience:

1-5 years of experience in Energy Sector is must.( If Diploma holder: additional 2-3 Y Exp. req.)
