About the Team

The Business Aftermarket Operations Center (BAOC) team plays a critical role in ensuring product availability and supply chain excellence across China. The team is responsible for demand planning, inventory optimization, material replenishment, supplier performance management, and continuous process improvement to support customer satisfaction and business growth.

What you can look forward to as Inventory Management Specialist:

• Manage demand planning and forecasting activities by analyzing historical sales data, market intelligence, and business events to ensure forecast accuracy and product availability.
• Execute material requirements planning (MRP) and purchase order management, ensuring the right materials are ordered at the right time, quantity, and cost.
• Monitor and optimize inventory performance through safety stock planning, inventory projections, and inventory health management, while reducing excess, obsolete, and slow-moving stock.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to improve delivery performance, manage backlog recovery plans, and strengthen long-term supplier relationships.
• Analyze supply chain KPIs, identify root causes of performance gaps, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, and Warehouse Operations to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, ensuring data transparency and supporting business decisions through accurate inventory and supply chain analysis.
• Participate in new product launch planning and inventory-related projects to support business growth and operational excellence.

Your profile as Inventory Management Specialist:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain operations, inventory management, or materials planning; automotive industry experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (Power Pivot required); knowledge of Power BI and demand planning tools is an advantage.
• Good understanding of inventory management, forecasting methodologies, supplier management, and material planning processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions.
• Proactive, accountable, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
