D2C/O2C TEAM

The D2C/O2C Operations team plays a critical role in optimizing working capital performance, ensuring accounting accuracy, and delivering operational excellence through effective Cash Application, Customer Ledger Management, Reconciliations, and stakeholder collaboration. The team partners with Global Markets, Finance, Customer Service, and Business stakeholders to drive process efficiency and enhance customer experience.

JOB TITLE

Specialist D2C/O2C

ADIDAS – Chennai, INDIA

PURPOSE

Serve as a subject matter expert for Cash Application and Ledger Management processes by driving resolution of complex accounting issues, enhancing controls, and supporting transformation initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage complex cash application scenarios and customer accounts.
• Conduct detailed ledger analysis and reconciliation activities.
• Drive resolution of unapplied cash, short payments, deductions, and disputed transactions.
• Identify root causes of recurring accounting and operational issues.
• Ensure customer accounts remain compliant and accurately maintained.
• Support audits and control requirements.
• Collaborate with market teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Prepare operational reporting and performance insights.
• Support process optimization and automation initiatives.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong knowledge of Cash Application and O2C processes.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and ledger handling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA expertise.
• Advanced Excel and Presentation skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in O2C, Cash Application, or Accounts Receivable.
• Proven experience managing complex reconciliations and account issues
