As a Data & Finance Systems Specialist within the Grid Technology Services Finance team, you will play a key role in supporting our digital finance transformation journey.
You will work closely with finance business users, digital finance experts, and IT teams to understand business requirements, analyze financial data structures, and translate business needs into technical solutions. You will support financial planning and reporting processes while gaining expertise in enterprise systems such as SAP, Snowflake, Power BI, SAC, and Jedox.
A significant part of your role will focus on understanding finance data flows, improving data quality, providing analytical insights, and supporting OLAP-based planning and reporting solutions across the global GT SV Finance organization.
How You'll Make an Impact
As part of the Digital Finance team, you will:
• Analyze and structure financial data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Understand and document finance-related business logic and technical data flows.
• Support integration of SAP financial data into reporting and planning solutions.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements.
• Support data modelling and data transformation activities within Snowflake and related analytics platforms.
• Assist in maintaining and improving planning and reporting solutions built on Jedox.
• Learn and work with OLAP concepts, multidimensional data models, and planning applications.
• Provide ad-hoc technical support to finance users utilizing Jedox solutions across GT SV.
• Support root cause analysis for reporting and planning issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, standardization, and data quality.
• Prepare documentation, process descriptions, and technical specifications.
• Participate in digitalization initiatives and finance transformation projects.
What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business and data requirements.
• Interest in financial processes, enterprise systems, and data-driven decision making.
• A proactive mindset, willingness to learn new technologies, and interest in supporting digital finance transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of SAP Finance modules (FI/CO), financial master data concepts, and finance-related business processes.
• Experience with SQL, databases, and large datasets.
• Familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or Tableau.
• Exposure to data warehousing concepts and platforms such as Snowflake.
• Basic understanding of OLAP concepts, multidimensional data models, and planning systems.
• RPA and APA are nice to have.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and data-related topics to both business and technical stakeholders.
